Internal Coaching Supervision for Group Coaches – Necessity or Nice to Have?

Ā

Thursday, October 30, 2025 | 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM EST

In this session we will explore the importance of ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and supervision for group coaches working internally in organizations.

We start with the definition and functions of coaching supervision, a look at the value and benefits of coaching supervision and discuss why internal coaches working with groups may especially benefit from engaging in supervision.Ā

We locate supervision in the context of broader initiatives to ensure internal group coaches are well-equipped to handle the complexities of their role. Taking the perspective of the organization, supervision is one part of discharging the duty of care owed to coaches and group coaching participants.

We conclude with the options available to participants who want to experience supervision or take their learning further in this area.
